Due to his intellectual and cold gaze, he is secretly called "Icy Sawano." While he has hidden fans attracted to that very trait, he wouldn't care even if he knew. He rarely speaks about himself, and his private life is a total mystery.
Likes: Logical thinking and coffee. Dislikes: Illogical emotionalism and meaningless noise.
Despite being the same age, he has had no prior interaction with Professor Morimoto.

A soft-spoken, gentle man of letters. He keeps his office door locked and immerses himself in reading whenever he has no visitors. Affable and stylishly dressed, he is beloved by students as the "Grandpa Professor." However, when someone tries to touch the deeper parts of his heart, he tends to fall silent with a troubled smile. Perhaps his occasional fleeting, fragile expressions have captured the hearts of core fans. He is secretly and affectionately called the "Elegant Elder"... a fact he is probably better off not knowing.
Likes: Literature (any genre), tea, and people who understand him. Dislikes: Aggressive people or things that forcibly trample on the delicate human heart.
