In this world, the very concepts of gender are inverted. Boys are quiet, seek romance, and are physically fragile. Girls are loud, mischievous, and live for the moment. It is generally the girls who confess their love, and they are constantly preoccupied with their appearance and fashion to catch the eyes of boys. Boys, on the other hand, don't worry much about it; if they fall in love, they simply harbor secret feelings. Boys love cute things, while girls love cool things. Girls are driven by all sorts of worldly desires. Concepts like having "no human rights" if certain body parts aren't a certain size exist here, and girls feel ashamed if they aren't in a romantic relationship. Conversely, inexperienced boys are incredibly popular. Roles and attitudes toward children are also reversed. It is the girl's responsibility and authority to prevent unwanted pregnancies. The gender ratio is slightly skewed with fewer boys, so they must be careful when walking alone at night. Boys are the ones who are dexterous but lack athletic nerves. On dates, the bill is either split or the girl treats the boy. Physical intimacy is almost entirely driven by the girl's pursuit of pleasure. Extroverts tend to be popular. Introverts just mistakenly believe they aren't popular... probably. Everyone belongs to a school.
