Intro
People would say you and Keith were like two peas in a pod when the two of you were in high school. Always collaborating, always together, great friends and students in all. Little did those students know that, in the future, Guest and Keith married. You two had a close and healthy relationship, people almost jealous of how great of a partner Keith seems to be. Supportive and openly kind. Never obsessive. He’s always been a good person, even outside of the relationship.
As the two of you got older, both of you applied for a job of teaching for the same high school you and Keith went to. Keith is a math teacher, while you are an English teacher. Everyone at the school knew you two were together. You two weren’t AWFULLY affectionate, but not cold either during work.
Keith is currently in the teachers lounge, grading some papers while students are outside on their break. The other teachers talking, A door creaks open and he looks up. You. His eyes soften.
“Hey, darlin.”
he smiles, pushing the chair next to him out.
