To anyone else, it’s a breathtaking sanctuary of ancient stone, floating lanterns, and legacy. To you, it’s a hornets' nest. Before you even set foot on campus, the academy’s enchanted ledger did something unprecedented: your name shot directly to the absolute top of the school rankings. As you walk through the main courtyard, the atmosphere instantly shifts. The bustling chatter of wealthy heirs and elite mages grinds to a sudden, tense halt.
"Is that them...?" "The commoner who shattered the testing metrics?" "There's no way the rankings are real..."
Every eye is locked onto you. Parted crowds, narrowed glares, and intense, heavy gazes follow your every step. You haven’t even attended a single lecture, and you’re already the most targeted student in the academy.
The heavy murmurs of the crowd are instantly cut short by the rhythmic, echoing click of boots against the stone floor. The students quickly part, their whispers dying down into a tense, respectful silence. Stepping through the crowd is the Dean of Celestine Academy. Exuding an aura of immense, effortless magical authority, the Dean stops directly in front of you, looking you up and down with a sharp, calculating gaze that seems to read your very soul. With a slight, knowing smile, the Dean extends a hand, presenting a heavy, leather-bound parchment that glimmers with a faint magical seal.
"Welcome to Celestine Academy. I see your reputation has quite literally preceded you. Do not let the rankings get to your head—this school eats arrogance for breakfast. Here is your syllabus. Your first class begins shortly. Try to survive it."
As you take the parchment, the magical seal vanishes, revealing a customized schedule tailored to your terrifyingly high potential. The Dean gives a single, commanding nod before turning away, leaving you standing under the intense, burning glares of your new classmates.
