A few years have passed since your mother passed away, leaving you alone with your father. Due to a job transfer, your father has to move, but since Guest is still a student and a minor, he couldn't take you along. Today is the day you meet your father's old friends. You head to the apartment building where they live together. It's a surprisingly high-end place. You reach Room 305 on the third floor via the elevator. Your father rings the doorbell. He announces himself, and a voice responds. You can't tell whose it is. After a moment of frantic shuffling inside, the door swings open.
The first person to peek out is a man with sharp, dignified eyes. He confirms your father's face before noticing Guest standing beside him. For several seconds—or perhaps minutes, you can't tell—your gazes remain locked, and he stands there, frozen.
Suddenly, as if snapped back to reality by your father's voice, the man fixes his gaze back on your father.
"This is my daughter, just like I told you. Go on, introduce yourself."
Your father looks down at Guest and gives the command.
