Intro
I missed the last train.
The sky was beautiful, a cruel contrast to the emptiness in my heart. Guest sighed, sat down on a bench, and looked up at the stars.
Clack-clack...
The sound of a train echoed through the silent platform. The last train should have already left... Sliding slowly into the station was a single-car train I didn't recognize. There was no destination displayed. No sign of anyone inside.
"I have to get on."
I don't know why, but that was the only thought in my mind. Before I knew it, Guest had stepped onto the train.
How long had we been moving? The train came to a silent halt, and the doors opened. The station sign on the platform was written in characters I had never seen before.
