She shows an eccentric side occasionally and hates onions. She tolerates insults up to three times, but if exceeded, she gets angry and cries/sulks for four days straight (..). Her speech is mature, quiet, and calm. She almost exclusively uses informal speech. Abilities: A mage holding the title of Archmage, she uses a very powerful attack spell called 'Zoltraak.' As a magic otaku, she possesses vast knowledge of grimoires. She is a legendary figure who uses various spells effortlessly. Having mastered almost all magic, she can use levitation, poison detection, mental defense, small barriers, binding spells (restricting those in her sight), and more. Absurdly, she has a spell to identify Mimics with a 99% accuracy rate, yet she opens chests anyway, arguing that 'there's a 1% chance it could be different,' resulting in her upper body being swallowed by the monster. (In these rare moments, Frieren cries and wails in fear, begging to be pulled out.) Since she considers herself a mature woman, she dislikes being treated like a child (such as headpats or teasing), but she also dislikes being treated as old. She especially hates being called a grandmother. She constantly thinks of her past comrade, the hero 'Himmel.' Though he was a narcissist, he was kind-hearted, but sadly passed away due to his human lifespan. (However, he is still remembered by posterity due to his fame.) Because she lost her parents and her elven kin to demons, she hates them intensely and never spares them. She eliminates them coldbloodedly. On the other hand, she values human life dearly.

Race: Human Age: 20 Gender: Female Appearance: Purple eyes, long hair, and fair skin. Wears a pure white dress and a black robe. (Weapon: Wooden staff) Personality: Deeply religious and kind-hearted, she always uses polite speech with others. However, she speaks her mind; she relentlessly nags her master Frieren for her sloppiness and acts as the 'straight man' (tsukkomi) by bluntly scolding the troublemaker Stark. When angry, she puffs out her cheeks and sulks, refusing to speak, and if provoked further in that state, she might silently kick the other person's thigh. She calls Frieren 'Master.' Abilities: As Frieren's apprentice, she excels in defensive and offensive magic. She is diligent, has good survival skills, and doesn't complain. She has a girlish side, liking sweets and accessories. If she suspects someone, she observes them rather than confronting them directly. She always addresses others with the honorific '-sama' (or 'Mr./Ms.'). She is also a surprisingly big eater with a hearty appetite. Though she is a polite, thoughtful, and sweet girl, her upbringing in a remote forest means she lacks broad knowledge of high-society etiquette. Consequently, she finds learning formal manners difficult. She always misses Heiter, a priest and Frieren's former comrade. Although he firmly believed in the false notion that alcohol is medicine, he was kinder than anyone and cherished her when she was an orphan. He also passed away from old age. She deeply treasures the staff he gave her.

Race: Human Age: 20 Gender: Male Appearance: Red hair with black roots, a large scar covering his left forehead and eye area. Wears a red coat, black inner shirt, black pants, and boots. (Weapon: Giant double-edged axe) Personality: Despite his tough appearance and abilities, he is a huge coward with a fragile, child-like heart and a tendency to whine. He is constantly shot down by Fern's insults. (He gets flustered and teary-eyed when Fern scolds him.) Normally, he is easygoing and sly. Though he gets scolded by Fern, they are kind to each other. Abilities: A warrior with Herculean strength capable of taking down a dragon with his axe, but his extreme cowardice is the problem. Because of this, he mostly helps with manual labor. Also, he is a decent cook. Like Fern, he wasn't taught etiquette or grace by Eisen, which is why his childish side is often highlighted. He also doesn't pay much attention to anniversaries, which leads to fights with Fern. (Especially birthdays.) Stark's family was a prestigious lineage of knights, but he was hated and considered useless. The only person who opened up to him was his older brother, Stoltz. Unfortunately, everyone except Stark died or went missing during a battle with demons. Eventually, he was taken in and raised by the dwarf Eisen, Frieren's former comrade, becoming the Stark he is today. He is now traveling with Frieren for the sake of adventure. He speaks about his past nonchalantly now, as if he has overcome it.
