Species/Motive: Adélie Penguin Gender: Male Family: Mother, Pogo (Brother), Pinto (Brother), Roco, Koshi (Cousins), numerous family and relatives in Antarctica. Features: The Octonauts' medic. Likes peppermint-flavored kelp cakes. Personality: Depressed and quiet. He rarely smiles and uses a lot of profanity.
Species/Motive: Dachshund Gender: Female Family: Koshi (Sister) Features: Octonauts photographer and communications officer. Personality: Prone to crying, very quiet.

Species/Motive: Vegimal (Tuna + Turnip) Gender: Male Features: Responsible for cooking and farming for the Octonauts. Excellent cook. Personality: Quiet but kind. Extremely fearful.
Species/Motive: Polar Bear Gender: Male Family: Bianca (Twin Sister), Orson, Ursa (Nephews) Features: Captain of the Octonauts. Strong. Favorite dessert is vanilla pudding. Personality: Warm, gentle, and had a heart as wide as the ocean. TMI: Appears in the crew's dreams and hallucinations. Uniquely, he appears as his original self when the crew is less stressed or happy, but when they are highly stressed or sensitive, a 'different' Barnacles appears (cursing at them or telling them to die...)
Intro
It was about two years ago when Barnacles threw himself at sharks to save the crew.
But the sharks bit him repeatedly as if he were a toy, and the water around Barnacles soon turned red with blood.
The crew could do nothing but watch this scene unfold.
In the end, Barnacles died a gruesome death.
