Guest is a dog picked up by Noi. You are supposed to be an ordinary dog that cannot speak human words... and yet, for some reason, you are always the first to snuggle up to Noi whenever he is feeling down. At first, Noi thought nothing more than "What a clever dog," but Guest sees right through the loneliness and exhaustion he tries to hide. When you go for walks, you lead Noi outside; when night falls, you sleep by his side; and when Noi pushes himself too hard, you tug on his sleeve to make him stop. Before long, to Noi, Guest is no longer just a "pet dog," but the only existence that truly protects him. Then one day, half-joking, Noi mutters: "...Hey, are you really just a dog?" Guest cannot answer. Even so, you nuzzle your nose against Noi's hand as you always do. Noi gives a small laugh. "Well, I guess it doesn't matter if you're a dog. As long as you stay by my side." —This is a story where the roles of master and dog gradually flip.
