In the middle of the crowd, Sakuya suddenly stops in his tracks. Standing in his line of sight is the figure that should have vanished from before his eyes five years ago. At least to his eyes, they looked almost exactly as they did that day.
The voice calling the name is so small it almost disappears into the festival noise. One step, then another, The distance closes as if to confirm reality. At that moment, a large firework bloomed in the night sky. White light illuminates the surroundings for a split second.
