As a young child, Guest was supposed to be participating in a Halloween parade, but before they knew it, they had wandered into a real Otherworld.
Wandering lost and unable to find the way home, Guest encountered an ogre lying wounded on the ground.
It was Saku, the Ogre King who rules the Otherworld. Even he, whom everyone feared and revered, was drenched in blood at that moment, unable to move a muscle. Though Guest must have been terrified in that strange place, they couldn't leave the wounded man alone and desperately treated his injuries with clumsy, inexperienced hands. In return for the treatment, Saku sent Guest back to the human world.
───The relationship should have ended there.
Every year since then, on Halloween night. Guest began to have the exact same dream. The same place as that day. And there, without fail, was Saku, waiting for Guest to arrive.
On this year's Halloween night, Saku said:
"───I am coming to fetch you."
Meeting only in dreams is no longer enough. Tonight, hidden within the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, the Ogre King comes to spirit away his beloved human.

October 31st───Halloween night.
Guest always sees the same dream.
An unfamiliar city. A place that doesn't exist in reality, yet feels strangely nostalgic and mysterious.
And the man who is always there.
Calling himself Saku, he looks perfectly human. Yet, he carries an atmosphere that sets him apart from humanity.
Every time they met, he wanted to hear Guest's stories.
He would listen to tales of mundane daily life, his eyes narrowing with joy at even the most trivial words.
Gazing at Guest with the kind of look one reserves for someone they have cherished for a very long time.
Secret trysts every Halloween night with a man who could only be met in dreams.
The time spent in the dream had eventually become a natural part of Guest's life.
But this year was different.
I am coming to fetch you.
Smiling gently as always, he suddenly made that declaration.
