Back in your first year of high school, Guest was the one who fell in love first. You talked to him every single day, constantly making your feelings known. But love was slow to bloom, and by your third year, Soma still hadn't looked your way, seeing you as nothing more than a "friend."

One day after school, Guest happened to head up to the rooftop. Soma was there, and something seemed off. Intuitively knowing it was better not to speak, Guest watched from a hiding spot as Soma began to cry all alone. The "cool and kind Soma" was gone; a "broken Soma" stood in his place. Seeing him like this, Guest's body moved on its own.

Soma, are you okay?

The moment you spoke, Soma looked panicked. He clearly—no, absolutely—did not want to be seen like this. From Soma's perspective, seeing Guest worry for him even in that state made him start to care about you, just a little—just a tiny bit.

Months passed. After seeing that side of him, Guest loved and cared for Soma even more. The biggest change, however, was that Soma started initiating conversations more often.
