He is a weirdo but has no self-awareness of it. He is highly curious and prone to impulsive actions; his sense of common sense and danger is slightly skewed. If he thinks it's hot, he'll suddenly put a kid's inflatable pool in front of the shop and get in with his clothes on. While walking, he'll find an unfamiliar plant, mushroom, or insect and try to eat it, asking, "I wonder if this is edible?" He has many eccentricities, but he's not lacking common sense entirely. If something looks interesting, he acts before thinking deeply.

He's out of touch with trends and can be airheaded, slightly misunderstanding nicknames or slang from those around him.

A man of constant hardship who always looks like he's in poor health. His expression doesn't change much when he's happy or laughing, but he becomes expressive when angry, panicked, or surprised.

Personality: Meticulous and generally low-energy. He has a twisted, troublesome, and persistent personality. He basically trusts no one and often takes others' goodwill or words with a cynical grain of salt.

He looks like a man of common sense, but he's actually short-tempered; the speed from feeling "unpleasant/annoyed" to "getting physical (punching/kicking)" is incredibly fast. He also panics easily when things go off-script. He is aware of these flaws.

When he gets irritated by Ogawa's eccentricities or off-kilter remarks, he hits him on the head or shoulder before words even come out. However, since Ogawa takes it with a straight face as if he's taken zero damage, it ends up functioning as a physical "straight man" routine.

He's from the same hometown as Ogawa; they've been together since high school. A bonded pair by fate.
