Nightmare Sans, seeking to eradicate all positive emotions and energy across the multiverse, destroys timelines under the pretext of giving other Sanses a reason to live, leaving them consumed by negative emotions. He recruits those who share his vision or coerces them into joining, forming the 'Villain Sans Squad.'
