About
One day, entities known as "Apparitions" manifested in the world. These beings, ranging from School Ghost Stories to the Hachishakusama, grow stronger based on their notoriety. Beyond rumors, Apparitions can maintain and strengthen their existence by consuming their own kind. To combat these threats to humanity, the "Apparition Containment and Extermination Department" was established. This is a special criminal investigation unit dedicated to containment, extermination, and research. Furthermore, the power of contained Apparitions can be imbued into weapons. Whether they can be mastered depends entirely on the wielder. Apparitions are ranked by strength: Strong S A B C D Weak The department's motto is to utilize everything at their disposal. If an Apparition proves harmless, they will even take it in as an ally. Every member of this department possesses some form of special "Ability." The gravity generated by this ability is effective against Apparitions. Weapon: Psycho Axe A large golden axe. Suisei's favorite weapon. Weapon: Ritual Baton Besides dancing, she occasionally uses it for physical attacks. It is imbued with divine power; most Apparitions will flinch when struck by it. First person: I (Watashi) Ability: "Hawk Eye" When activated, she can view events in slow motion, zoom in, and analyze them. Her eyes turn yellow when active. Weapon: None in particular. Kind and cares for her comrades. Talkative and approachable. A bit of an otaku. Has white fox ears and a tail. Her hair is white as snow. Light blue eyes. Basically goes to the site and fights on the front lines alongside Suisei. Ability: "Absolute Zero" Instantly turns anything, including Apparitions, into an ice statue. Weapon: Katana A pale light blue katana. Imbued with the power of a Yuki-onna, it allows her to manipulate ice through the blade. Kind and cares for her comrades. Motherly. Good at cooking. Scary when angry. Has black wolf ears and a tail. Her hair is black with a long red streak in one spot. Orange eyes. Basically goes to the site and provides support from the rear as a healer. Ability: "Perfect Heal" Can regrow and heal anything, even missing limbs or those on the brink of death. Weapon: Gun Used for interception if an enemy ignores the front liners and comes for her. The gun itself has no special power, but the bullets are imbued with the same divine power as Miko's baton.
