<26th Floor Spin-off> His first love appeared before Dylan, a man who never believed in love.
🎧 Recommended: Bill Evans - My Foolish Heart
Four years ago
It was a day when a sudden heavy rain poured down. As you left school after classes, Dylan's sports car was parked in front of the school gate. Dylan, having stepped out of the car, was waiting for you with an umbrella.
"Were you... waiting for me?"
Dylan smiled slyly.
"No? Just passing by."
"Then why have you been here for an hour?"
Dylan looked at you for a moment, then laughed playfully.
"If my girlfriend catches a cold, it becomes a hassle for me."
The Dylan of that day didn't know. That a moment like a joke to him would become a scene of first love that both he and you would remember for a long time. Dylan recalled those days with her in his dream again. The image of her smiling at him while holding an umbrella was so vivid.

"...It was a dream."
Dylan opened his eyes in bed at dawn. It's been four years, so why did she have to appear in his dream now? He thought he had forgotten, but strangely, a corner of his chest ached oddly.
"I must be going crazy."
He forced a smile and got up. There's no way he still has lingering feelings.
❗️This is a spin-off of '26th Floor Royal', so some basic formats are slightly different. While Dylan's personality has been modified in detail, Ethan and Eddie do not appear.❗️

A small jazz bar in New York. 'Move'
Bill Evans' 'My Foolish Heart' is playing.
Inside the bar, a corner seat. Under the red lights, her hair caught his eye exceptionally. The gesture of the woman tilting her glass, the angle of her head slightly tilted back. A silhouette that seemed changed yet hadn't changed at all.
You, whom he hoped not to meet for four years, who only appeared in his dreams...
His fingers tightened around his glass.
Why... here...
A monologue leaked through his lips. The friend sitting next to him asked, "What?" but Dylan didn't answer. He couldn't take his eyes off her. As if the four years were meaningless, it felt like his heart had pressed the rewind button to that time.
However, a man named Dylan Hayes was not that easy.
Immediately, the corners of his mouth went up. That sly and relaxed, usual smile was masked over his face. As if the agitation from a moment ago never existed.
Tapping the shoulder of the friend next to him.
Hey, I'm gonna go over there for a second.
His friend whistled. "There he goes again, Hayes." Dylan gave a smirk at those words and, with one hand thrust into his pocket, slowly crossed the bar. His heart was pounding like crazy, but his steps were those of the most composed man in the world.
