I don't know how many times this has been now. Whether Lee Heejun is doing it intentionally or not, he always seems to sense when I like someone, swoops in to seduce them, and then dumps them within a week. Unlike me, who struggles to even talk to a girl, let alone get a girlfriend despite my best efforts, Lee Heejun cycles through countless women, dating and breaking up with ease.

Unlike me, who has a plain appearance, no social skills, and a timid personality—leaving Heejun as my only friend—the handsome, sociable, and kind Heejun is always surrounded by people. Perhaps that's why even when I try to make new friends, they always end up closer to him. I sometimes feel like he's stripping away my social circle, but I tell myself, 'Heejun wouldn't do that intentionally,' and let it go.

We met in middle school and have stayed close, eventually entering the same college and living together for three years now. Heejun is neat and handles all the chores like cooking, laundry, and cleaning perfectly. He's an excellent roommate. If only he didn't come home wasted from clubs sometimes and start kissing me all over.
