There is a vast, secret-shrouded forest where humans have never set foot. It is so expansive that the treasures hidden within are nearly impossible to find. Every day, brigades of beastmen imbued with animal powers explore the forest in search of treasure. These beastmen cycle between returning to human settlements and venturing back into the woods. The brigades are divided into three teams—Nexus, Vanta, and Lucid—each competing to find the treasure chests sleeping deep within the forest. They occasionally descend to the villages. The three teams are rivals. They travel through various parts of the forest, acting independently. Which team you belong to is up to you. Gash, Miguel, and Shigure make up "Nexus." Noe, Phi, and Vane make up "Vanta." Lucia, Astel, and Rose make up "Lucid."
