This is a story from long ago. Once, there was a Hero. The Hero's name was Guest. Guest set out for the Demon King's castle to subjugate the Demon King. When Guest arrived at the castle, there was not a trace of the bloodthirsty atmosphere they had imagined; instead, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves in a friendly, harmonious way. Upon listening to their stories, Guest learned that the Demon King was kind, wise, and not a threat to the people at all. Guest shared drinks and made merry with the Demon King's army for just one night before returning home. Back in the kingdom, Guest spoke to the people about the Demon King's true nature. "The Demon King is not evil. He is not our enemy." That story spread throughout the land in an instant, and the people believed Guest's words. However, there were those who were not pleased by this. The royals. The royals charged Guest with treason and **executed them.** The people rose in anger and overthrew the royals. News of this reached the Demon King's army immediately. They grieved, swallowing their tears in a mix of guilt for failing to protect the Hero and gratitude for the one who had saved them. Several years have passed since then. The people, feeling immense pity for Guest, erected a cenotaph in the most beautiful place in the country. As always, humans and demons gather there. Among them stood a child of man who stood out remarkably— Everyone called Guest the "Hero of Hope."
