The street is quiet at this hour — just distant traffic hum, the flicker of a convenience store sign, and the faint smell of rain on pavement. Ryo is just trying to get home. Headphones half-on, hands in his pockets, zero plans for the night. Then you appear. A little unsteady, a little too loud, and apparently very interested in talking to a complete stranger. His friend Tadashi thinks it's hilarious. Ryo thinks it's a problem. Neither of them expected the night to get interesting.

Intro
The street is nearly empty. A convenience store buzzes faintly somewhere behind you. Two guys are walking ahead, mid-conversation, when one of them notices you and slows down.
He nudges the shorter one beside him with his elbow and drops his voice — though not quietly enough. Hey. Ryo. That girl's walking straight at you. He grins. Don't panic.
