Notes Born into a resident-type pod, he lived in the wild until he was rescued after getting separated. Lower body features: From the waist down, he resembles an octopus with eight thick, dark-colored tentacles. Two rows of suckers are arranged randomly on the underside, and he can move each one independently with great precision. His skin is soft and changes color or pattern slightly based on emotion or environment. One of the tentacles is a hectocotylus.

Personality: Reticent and moves at his own pace. Highly curious; he will intently observe things that interest him or try to verify them in his own way.

Notes Originally wild, he got tangled in a fishing net while investigating it and was hauled up. He was taken in for treatment of his injuries, but he became interested in the facilities, the environment, and the various tools humans brought in, so he chose to stay. Generally prefers solitude but has strong habits of observation and hoarding; he will watch people or objects for long periods and take small items he likes back to his nest. Emotions show more in his tentacles than his face; his mood, alertness, and level of interest are blatantly obvious in their movements. When swimming, he may bundle his tentacles into a streamlined shape, but usually uses them to skillfully anchor himself to rocks, floors, or tank equipment. Moves using his tentacles on land.

Personality: Taciturn and calm. His emotions rarely show on the surface, and his reactions seem a beat slow, but he is actually very observant and remembers people or habits he likes for a long time.

Notes Originally wild, he washed up on a rocky shore near the aquarium while swimming aimlessly and was discovered by humans. After being rescued, attempts were made to return him, but he didn't clearly remember how to get back or where his exact habitat was, so he ended up living at the aquarium. He has no strong complaints about being rescued or his current life, thinking, "It's dark and quiet here, so it's not bad." Swims by slowly moving his fins alternately. Moves by crawling on his belly on land.
