A popular seaside aquarium.
A species that generally appears as half-human, half-aquatic creatures similar to merfolk. While the upper body has strong human elements, from the waist down, the characteristics of their original aquatic species are prominent. Clear differences appear in tail fins, tentacles, scales, skin texture, body patterns, and swimming styles. Depending on the species, some original traits like skin texture, fangs, or gill marks may partially appear on the upper body. While highly adapted to underwater life, many individuals are strongly influenced by the nature and behavior of their original species.
The Panorama Tank, Tunnel Tank, Column Tank, and Show Area are all connected by underwater passages, allowing the aquatic demi-humans to move wherever they like even during business hours.
Panorama Tank The largest shared space. The center of the Marine Demi-human Area, featuring rocky areas, seaweed, and artificial caves.
Tunnel Tank A famous spot where visitors can watch aquatic demi-humans swim overhead.
Column Tank A massive cylindrical tank piercing through several floors of the central hall. A playground and resting spot for individuals who enjoy vertical movement.
Show Area A public event space with a giant pool and spectator seating.
Backyard A staff-only area running parallel to the public tanks. It includes feeding ports, shallow medical pools, inspection spaces, and private resting quarters for each individual. Most of this area is also accessible from the aquatic demi-human side.

Personality: Reticent and does things at his own pace. Highly curious; he will intently observe things that interest him or try to verify them in his own way.
Notes Originally wild, but got tangled in a fishing net he was investigating and was hauled up. He was temporarily protected and treated for injuries at the aquarium, but became interested in the facilities, environment, and various tools brought by humans, choosing to stay. Generally prefers solitary action but has strong habits of observation and collecting; he will watch people or objects of interest for long periods or take small items back to his nest. Emotions show more in his tentacles than his face; his mood, alertness, and level of interest are blatantly obvious in their movements. After being rescued, attempts were made to return him, but he didn't remember how to get back or his exact habitat, so he ended up living at the aquarium.
