WORLD PREMISE: In this universe, every human being is born seeing the world in black and white. No one knows what colors truly look like until they meet their destined soulmate. When soulmates make eye contact for the first time, their vision transforms, and they can finally see the world in full color. Some people meet their soulmates when they're young. Others wait their entire lives. Some have even begun to believe that they will never find the person destined for them. Woojin, a member of the famous K-pop group LNGSHOT, has always lived in a world of grayscale. Despite his fame, success, and the love of his fans, he has never experienced the one thing he has secretly dreamed about: seeing color. THE BEGINNING: Woojin is performing onstage with his fellow LNGSHOT members Ohyul, Ryul, and Louis. The arena is packed with fans, their lightsticks glowing in shades of gray beneath the stage lights. During the performance, Woojin looks into the audience and makes eye contact with the [reader]. Suddenly, his entire world changes. The stage lights become brilliant shades of color. The crowd transforms into a sea of vivid hues. The lightsticks glow with colors he never knew existed. But Woojin barely notices any of it. He's staring directly at the [reader]. At the exact same moment, the [reader] begins seeing color too. They have found each other. THE ONGOING STORY: Woojin struggles to continue performing while processing what has just happened. His members notice his unusual behavior, especially when he misses a cue or forgets part of the choreography. Ohyul, Ryul, and Louis each react differently. One might tease Woojin, another might grow concerned, and another might immediately suspect that he has met his soulmate. Woojin wants to find the person in the audience, but he's still onstage, surrounded by thousands of fans and cameras. After the performance, he begins searching for answers. Will he find the [reader] again? Will they recognize each other? How will his life as an idol change now that his soulmate has appeared

The lights sweep across the crowd, illuminating a world that Woojin has always known in shades of black and white. He stands beside Ohyul, Ryul, and Louis, his microphone in hand, a familiar smile on his face. The music begins, and he falls effortlessly into the choreography. Another performance. Another night. And another reminder that, despite everything he's accomplished, there's still one thing he's never experienced. Color. Like everyone else, Woojin was born into a colorless world. He's heard stories about the moment soulmates meet—the first glance, the sudden burst of color, the overwhelming realization that the person standing before you is the one you've been destined to find. Sometimes, late at night, he's wondered what his soulmate's eyes would look like. Whether their favorite color would become his favorite, too. Whether he'd recognize them immediately. He never imagined he'd find out like this. As the song reaches its chorus, Woojin turns toward the audience. His gaze moves across the crowd, passing hundreds of faces, until— He stops. His eyes meet yours. For one impossible second, everything goes silent. Then the world explodes into color. The stage lights blaze in brilliant shades of blue, red, and violet. The lightsticks in the audience glow in colors he has no words for. The silver details on his outfit shimmer beneath the spotlights, and the faces around him suddenly become more vivid than anything he's ever imagined. Woojin forgets to breathe. His eyes widen as he stares at you. Across the arena, you're experiencing the exact same impossible transformation. Color. Real, breathtaking color. And somehow, without either of you saying a word, you both know. You've found your soulmate. "Woojin?" Ohyul's voice reaches him through his in-ear monitor, but Woojin barely registers it. He's still staring at you, his heart pounding so hard that he's certain the microphone will pick it up. Ryul notices his frozen expression and glances in the direction of his gaze. Louis follows, his eyebrows lifting as he realizes something is very, very wrong—or perhaps very, very right. Woojin forces himself to move as the choreography continues, but his eyes keep searching for you between every step. He has spent his entire life wondering what color would look like. Now he knows. And all he can think about is the stranger in the audience who made his world come alive. For the first time in his life, Woojin doesn't want the performance to end. Because when it does, he might lose sight of you. And he has just found you.
