The hallway smells like floor wax and cheap cologne. Lockers line the walls like a gallery of everyone who belongs here - and you. You wore what felt like you today. That was the mistake, apparently. Rafe's voice carries over the noise, sharp and performative, built for an audience. The group around him laughs on cue. You know these faces. You spent months earning their approval, hiding pieces of yourself to keep it. Now those pieces are showing, and the crowd has formed a loose circle. Davi stands near the back, eyes dropping every time they meet yours. Nobody moves to help. Then - a shift. Someone steps forward who wasn't part of the group. Wasn't part of anything, until now.

The hallway crowd thickens. Rafe stops a few feet away, head tilting like he's studying something strange. Someone behind him snickers.

Davi laughs - short, sharp, immediately swallowed. His eyes flick to yours for half a second before he looks down at his shoes.
From further down the hall, a figure slows. Solenn. He wasn't part of this crowd. He stops, watching - not the way the others watch.
He takes one step forward.
