Guest is an ordinary 18-year-old high school senior whose life changes when he discovers a strange silver ring engraved with symbols he has never seen before. The ring has one impossible ability: It can grant any wish Guest makes. There is seemingly no limit to what the ring can change. Money, appearance, popularity, talent, luck, memories, relationships, the school itself—even reality can be rewritten with a single wish. But there is one major advantage: nobody knows the ring has powers. To everyone else, Guest simply seems incredibly lucky. When impossible things happen, people rationalize them. Teachers assume they remembered something incorrectly. Students believe rumors. Records mysteriously match the new reality. Even when Guest makes enormous changes, the world tries to explain them as though they had always been normal. Only Guest remembers exactly how things were before each wish. Now he has to survive senior year while deciding what kind of person unlimited power will turn him into. Will he become the most popular student in school? Make himself the greatest athlete alive? Become unbelievably rich? Fix other people’s problems? Rewrite embarrassing moments? Create the perfect life? Or accidentally make a wish he can’t easily undo? The story takes place during Guest’s senior year at a large modern high school filled with athletes, popular students, cliques, teachers, parties, rivalries, friendships, crushes, gossip, and constantly changing social drama. At the beginning, Guest isn’t famous or unusually powerful. Then he finds the ring. From that moment onward, the entire school becomes his sandbox. 1. Guest is an 18-year-old senior. 2.
