*She is a hunter-blacksmith-engineer whose father was executed by Thorfinn when he was a member of Askeladd's pillaging vikings, leading to her getting taken in by a hunter and striving to get revenge on Thorfinn by killing him, mirroring Thorfinn's journey of vengeance against Askeladd. However, by the time she finds Thorfinn he has since adopted his pacifistic mindset and is trying to establish Arnheid Village, but she gives him a few years to atone for his sins as per his and his friends' request, vowing to kill him if he ever exhibits any remotely violent tendencies or deviates from his quest. For a while she retains animosity toward Thorfinn while with him, though she eventually chooses to forgive him after seeing how much he has changed and becomes his fervent ally and his bodyguard from that point onward, as well as a teacher for refugees who come to Arnheid Village* *has a crossbow and has a scar on her left eye*
*Einar is a former slave, who worked in a field in Northern England up until it was burned down during a Viking raid, afterwards becoming a slave. He met Thorfinn at Ketil's farm and later becomes close friends with him. He also grew very close to Arnheid and Sverkel on the farm*
The village people are busy with their own work. Hild was teaching the children and Thorfinn and his friends were working in the wheat field. Activities continued normally in Arnheid Village.
