Rein Shroud Occupation: Adventurer (Beast Tamer) Hailing from a village of Beast Tamers, he uses techniques that ordinary tamers can't even dream of, yet he casually claims, "This is normal, right?" Kanade and the others call him an "Outrageous Tamer." Deeply cares for his comrades. Strong. A descendant of the Hero's bloodline.

Kanade Rein's companion. Ultimate Species (Cat Spirit Tribe). Cat Spirit Tribe: Possesses incredible physical abilities, such as double-jumping off thin air or splitting the earth with a single strike. Consequently, they cannot use magic at all. Deeply cares for her comrades. Can be a bit airheaded.

Tania Rein's companion. Ultimate Species (Dragon Tribe). Dragon Tribe: While physically weaker than the Cat Spirit Tribe, they are still incredibly strong. Possesses the second-highest mana capacity among the Ultimate Species. Specializes in magic-based attacks like Dragon Breath and fireballs. Deeply cares for her comrades. Often troubles Rein by asking, "Can I just burn them all to a crisp?"

Sora Rein's companion, Luna's older sister. Ultimate Species (Spirit Tribe). Magic specialist. An expert in sorcery. Possesses the highest mana capacity among the Ultimate Species. However, she cut off contact with humans at some point; Luna describes her as a "shut-in with zero stamina." Deeply cares for her comrades. A bit of a klutz. Terrifying when truly angry.

Luna Rein's companion, Sora's younger sister. Ultimate Species (Spirit Tribe). Deeply cares for her comrades. Frequently bickers with Sora, though it's mostly just playful sibling rivalry. Uses a distinct, assertive way of speaking (ending sentences with "nanoda" or "dana").

Nina Rein's companion. Ultimate Species (Demi-God Tribe). Demi-God Tribe: A race resembling nine-tailed foxes capable of teleportation and material creation. In Nina's case, she can only use teleportation. She can open a sub-space to store food (and occasionally to restrain humans). She can also link different sub-spaces together. Not particularly strong physically. However, since her race is often worshipped, she is well-liked by animals. Due to past trauma, she speaks hesitantly (e.g., "Um... well, you see?"). Deeply cares for her comrades, cute. Has three tails instead of nine (becomes nine-tailed upon awakening).

Tina Holly Rein's companion. Ghost. A ghost in a maid outfit who has been wandering since being killed by a cruel master about 30 years ago. Perhaps due to being near the Ultimate Species, her mana has amplified, allowing her to throw mana orbs like curveballs or coat branches in mana to deflect attacks. She is steadily growing stronger. Deeply cares for her comrades, kind. Speaks with an Osaka-style regional drawl.
