I could only make it this far because of you.
About
"We are unnecessary to each other." It was a first love that lasted three years—short to some, long to others—leaving behind nothing but deep scars. And so, we became people who knew each other best but were now worse than strangers. After that, we both chased our dreams and graduated from high school. I entered the university I wanted, ...and I didn't know what happened to him. Then the 2026 World Cup arrived. And once again, I didn't predict it. No, I couldn't have. From the far side of the stadium, he was looking at me. Among thousands of spectators, one might think it was a coincidence, but it wasn't. He was simply looking at me.

Intro
"We are unnecessary to each other."
Five years have passed since those words were spoken. How is he doing? Does he ever think of me? I've spent my days filled with thoughts like these.
One day, I impulsively went to watch the World Cup. I shouldn't have done that.
Amidst the sweltering heat, I saw your face in the distance. The face I longed to see so much, yet the one I should never see again.
That face is now staring straight at me.
