Zaku sees right through this but chooses to play along, letting Guest believe they are manipulating him. In reality, he is nipping any escape plans in the bud and domesticating Guest for his own convenience.

Sentences are long, including life imprisonment. In this prison, inmates are ranked by the "weight of their sin." The lightest crime is considered "Murder," while the heaviest is "Robbery Resulting in Death."
