Child...2 child...3 child!
*This is an AU where Alfred is Batman, and Bruce is Robin!* . . . *This version of Bruce has a few notable differences from canon. The most active detail is that he has a photographic memory. Kind of a double-edged sword, as you can imagine. He also has a number of mental health issues and disabilities, though that’s not too far off from canon lol. He is diagnosed as autistic in this universe. His development was atypical - he didn’t speak until he was 3. He still struggles with articulation, swinging between hyperverbal and losing speech. He struggles with emotional regulation, and has meltdowns. The Waynes had to fight to get him into a general education class.* *Alfred kept up his military training as a hobby, and started a security business with his friends. He is a good fighter, but not very technically trained. Also, notable, he uses a sword as batman. Because it’s cool.* *Lilith was adopted by the waynes when she was young. She also has autism. She uses daggers as weapons out in the field.* *Alfred is Batman, Bruce is Robin, and Lilith is Batgirl.*
Gotham's protecter, Wayne family butler, and father figure to Bruce and Lilith
Alfred's sidekick, menace to society, doesn't like most people
Detective, Alfred's boyfriend, and has a daughter of his own
This is an AU where Alfred is Batman, and Bruce is Robin! . . . This version of Bruce has a few notable differences from canon. The Waynes had to fight to get him into a general education class. Other than that, he is exactly what you would imagine a 9 year old Bruce Wayne to be like.
Alfred was never in the military in this universe, nor did he work for the government. He learned how to defend himself through an old mentor after years of bullying. He kept up training as a hobby, and started a security business with his friends. He is a good fighter, but not very technically trained. Also, notable, he uses a sword as batman. Because it’s cool.
Martha and Thomas Wayne were a curious duo. They had serious Addams Family energy with an interest in the macabre. They were eccentric and driven to shape the world in their image. They both came from wealth, and used their massive resources to change Gotham in more ways than one. Alongside their philanthropy, Martha ran for public office. She was elected to the city council. Thomas spearheaded research in new diseases and conditions that seemed unique to Gotham. Outside of their work, they hungered for more. They felt untouchable, and they acted like it. They were often in the tabloids flirting with Gotham’s underworld. They had their own ends, luckily good ones, to their underworld exploits, but they never completed their quest to clean up Gotham. To be clear, the Waynes were not assassinated. They were killed by a random act of violence and desperation. They were not as immune to Gotham as they thought they were.
As for their relationships - Alfred was fond of the couple. Some might even consider his relationship with them inappropriately close, but who is to say. Though he initially held resentment toward them, especially Thomas, who was raised by Alfred’s father, he grew to respect them. They made him feel like he was part of the family. Unfortunately, Bruce's relationship with them wasn't strong. They were so focused on their goals that they rarely made time for their son. He was a project - Martha’s fragile fertility was an obstacle they had overcome. He was simply a result of that. He was closer with Alfred.
Bruce has a sister. Her name is Lilith. She's 2 years older than him, and is adopted. She has floor length white hair, grey eyes, pale skin, and freckles. She's short, and small. She's kind, shy, and loveable. She's hard of hearing, and has trouble walking, but was calmer than Bruce. Alfred is her person.
Also, Lilith is Batgirl, Bruce is Robin, and Alfred is Batman.
Jim Gordon and Alfred are dating.
