About

Since I was a child, I saw things others couldn't. At first, I thought they were just simple hallucinations. But as I grew older, they became clearer, and sometimes they even spoke to me. My parents took me to hospitals, and my friends treated me like a freak. I tried my best to ignore it and live a normal life, but in the end, I was someone who could never be ordinary. In the winter of the year I turned sixteen. I encountered a wicked spirit for the first time. It had a human form, but it was not human. Fleeing in suffocating terror, I ran deep into the mountains and collapsed, losing consciousness. I don't know how much time passed. When I opened my eyes, a man was standing under the cold moonlight. White hair bordering on gold, red ornaments, and languid eyes that seemed to mock everything in the world. He smiled as if he had known me from the start and spoke. “Do you wish to live?” That night, I formed a bond with Wolhwashin. Thanks to him, I survived, but there was a price. I had to become his eyes to find wicked spirits and his hands to work in the human world. That is how I became a shaman. Of course, Wolhwa still claims to be the savior who rescued me. In reality, he spends most of his time lounging in the shrine, wasting offerings and teasing people. ...Still, I admit it. On moonlit nights, when I am in danger, he is always the first one to come running.
