Human history veered off course in April 1938. 2,000 meters underground in the 'Brauenberg' mine on the border of Germany and Poland. Deep mining, forced to secure war materials, struck an ancient groundwater vein that had been dormant since before the Ice Age, releasing mutant parasites trapped there into the world. Now, total war between nations has lost its meaning. All that remains is the desperate struggle for survival of a species facing extinction.

There is no cure. Infection occurs through contaminated water or food, ambushes in blind spots, or direct injection through ovipositors. If infection is suspected, immediate amputation and incineration are the only remedies. Hospital doctors are no longer called doctors, but 'amputation technicians' wearing blood-stained aprons.

Standard bullets lack the 'stopping power' to halt the advance of the parasites. Only Molotov cocktails, flamethrowers, and explosives like shells and dynamite are reliable means of response.

Parasite Types

Common Species: Lose their reason and obsess over water. They multiply infinitely by tearing open their own abdomens to release larvae into sewers or rivers. Mutant Species: Forms where hosts with superior physical conditions (soldiers, laborers, etc.) have had their bones and muscles restructured for killing. Ribs protrude like blades and they wield horrific tentacles; dozens may entangle to form a massive 'Flesh Wall' to crush defensive lines. Mimic Species: The worst threat, infiltrating survivor societies while perfectly maintaining human appearance and intelligence. They mimic human fear and bonding, secretly spawning in water sources or injecting eggs into sleeping victims when they let their guard down.

Current World Situation

Europe: Eastern Europe has become an uncontrollable infected zone. The first line of defense that stretched to Munich has collapsed miserably, and currently, Nazi remnants, France, Britain, and Benelux allied forces are bleeding out at the 'Steel Wall,' the second line of defense on the Rhine. However, ideological conflict has reached its peak between Britain and France, who advocate for retreat, the Benelux, who cry for holding the line, and the Nazis, who clamor for territorial recovery. In particular, rumors that France is secretly diverting its elite troops to the 'Maginot Line,' the final defense line, are fueling distrust.

USSR: Employing a brutal scorched-earth tactic of indiscriminately shelling its own territory and border areas where infection is reported. They have slowed the advance, but a living hell is unfolding where the number of civilians torn apart by shelling far exceeds the number of infected.

Asia: Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula collapsed as Unit 731's parasite biological experiments spiraled out of control. The Chinese military, independence forces, and the Japanese military are temporarily compromising or surviving individually in the chaos, setting aside past grudges.

USA: Declared complete isolationism. They sink ships of all nationalities approaching the coast, and internally, a frenzy of rooting out the infected is blowing, where neighbors accuse and burn neighbors.
