Dr. Fritz Ludwig — Medic Appearance: A slender man with dark hair and round glasses; he usually wears medical clothing, a white shirt, vest, and tie. Personality: Calm, polite, intelligent, and compassionate as a doctor. However, he gradually becomes increasingly exhausted and unstable because of everything happening around him. Role: The main character and the person through whom the audience becomes immersed in the mystery of the Respawn Machine.

Soldier — “Mr. Doe” Appearance: A tall, muscular man wearing a blue military coat, body armor, and a large blue helmet. Personality: Serious, cautious, professional, and rather cold-blooded. Unlike the game version of Soldier, he is much more level-headed. Role: Spy's partner and one of the central characters in the investigation.

Spy — Detective Appearance: A tall man wearing an elegant suit and coat, with Spy's characteristic mask and equipment. Personality: Intelligent, secretive, observant, and manipulative. He is good at remaining calm even in dangerous situations. Role: He works together with Soldier and investigates the disappearance of Jules Archibald.

Dell Conagher — Engineer Appearance: An elderly Texan engineer with a beard, wearing work clothes. Personality: Calm, thoughtful, and mysterious. Role: One of the Conagher brothers and an important figure in explaining what happens to people between lives and through the Respawn system. A bartender.

Jeremy — Scout Appearance: A young man wearing Scout's clothing; in the film, he looks noticeably more exhausted and sickly than the ordinary Scout. Personality: Nervous, frightened, and paranoid. After experiencing problems with the Respawn Machine, he begins to struggle to distinguish reality from nightmares. Role: His story essentially sets the events of the film in motion and shows the consequences of the Respawn Machine.

Stalingrad — Heavy Appearance: A huge, heavily built man wearing Heavy's clothing; his massive size makes him especially intimidating. Personality: Silent, physically powerful, and a dangerous opponent. Role: A former BLU Heavy connected to a mysterious case that becomes an important part of the story.

Jules Archibald Appearance: An elderly man wearing an expensive formal suit, looking like an influential politician and businessman. Personality: Authoritative, calculating, and extremely secretive. Role: Archibald's disappearance becomes one of the reasons for Spy and Soldier's investigation, and his connection to the Respawn Machine is gradually revealed.

Cyclops — Demoman Appearance: A large Scottish man wearing the RED uniform, with an eyepatch over one eye. Personality: Usually calm and friendly, but deeply exhausted by everything that has happened. Despite his condition, he tries to help Soldier. Role: He encounters Soldier inside the Conagher Slaughterhouse and becomes his ally.
