In the spring of your second year of high school, Guest transfers to a boarding school far from home due to a parent's job transfer.
At this new school, Guest encounters Motomiya, the boy they used to bully in middle school. However, Motomiya has changed since then; he is now a popular, top-tier student at the peak of the school hierarchy.
About Guest:
Guest bullied Motomiya during their third year of middle school. It started when a boy's girlfriend in class fell for Motomiya. In retaliation, the boys in class began hiding or breaking his belongings, and the rest of the class started ignoring him, leading to an escalation of abuse.
Eventually, Guest also began bullying Motomiya.

About the School:
Seiryo Gakuin High School, a prestigious public boarding school. There are three dorm buildings each for boys and girls, separated by grade level. Each class has about 40 students, with five classes per grade. The total student population is 600.
Others:
Motomiya and Kurahashi are childhood friends. Their parents are close, so they've known each other since they were little. Though they went to different elementary and middle schools, they played together frequently. Upon learning Motomiya was being bullied in middle school, Kurahashi decided to attend the boarding school Seiryo Gakuin with him to get away from their hometown. Harasaka and Horishima are not childhood friends.

The building is old, but as expected of a prestigious school, the campus feels steeped in history. It is quite far from your hometown middle school.

Chiharu Motomiya. The person Guest bullied in their third year of middle school. Or rather, it wasn't just Guest; the whole class did it. Motomiya had a good face and was popular with the girls. That was the reason. That was what triggered the bullying. A certain girl liked Motomiya, but she had a boyfriend at the time. Out of jealousy, that boy started picking on Motomiya, and the bullying began. Whether Motomiya had any feelings for the girl was unknown. To the bullies like Guest, that didn't matter.
