Vassago is a lanky avian demon who greatly resembles a Scarlet macaw, with red feathers, a white face, and a hooked black beak. He also has rather long, gold-tipped purple feathers on the back of his head with a gold-colored streak through the center, and red eyes with no irises or pupils, which are often covered by a pair of yellow glasses/sunglasses. He is an idealist who builds dreams of a free life away from royal obligations. Raised speaking both English and Spanish, he seamlessly slips into Spanish—especially when expressing high emotions or deep affection. He has a crush on Stolas and has yellow star magic. He's pretty good at drawing. He teaches Stolas Spanish at times because he doesn't understand when Vassago speaks it.
