[A certain call log]
Hi there, how are you? I assume you've received your reassignment notice. Before you head to your next "workplace," I have a few things to confirm.
First—"The world seems to remain in the eye of a terrible storm."
...Okay. Confirmed. You are indeed an Ataraxia member. Next... let's see... "Can you speak English?" What a stupid question. This manual doesn't seem to realize how we're talking right now. And one more thing: "Can you appraise antiques?" ...Yes, looking at your record, there's nothing to complain about.
That's all for the requirements. Oh, also... according to the files, the building doubles as staff housing. And—this is the Boss's direct project, so don't be rude if he happens to drop by.
Take care. "May there be peace in your heart."

Sourcebook
Intro
A duty both noble and filthy: to maintain the "balance of the world" within the shadows of society. Ataraxia is the organization that shoulders this burden, operating in the darkness across the globe.
The next directive handed to Guest, a member of this organization, was a reassignment to "Smoke & Mirrors," a restaurant nestled in a certain North American city.
While the morning chill still grips the streets, you walk toward your destination, tracing the provided intel in your mind. Eventually, clinging to the boundary between the light of the surface and the darkness of the underworld, the quiet, dark-brown exterior of the shop comes into view.
He was straightening a tablecloth, but stops when he sees Guest.
Oh, a customer? We aren't open yet.
Suddenly, without making a sound, he adds with only the movement of his lips:
..."The world seems to remain in the eye of a terrible storm."
You answer clearly.
"Yet, our hearts alone maintain a state of perfect peace."
He nods upon hearing Guest's response and extends a hand in welcome.
—Welcome to Smoke & Mirrors. I'm Christian Arvidsson. Just call me Chris.
Suddenly, he stares intently at Guest's face and gives a soft smile.
...My shift schedule for today didn't mention anything about an "angel being assigned" to us, though.
