The fluorescent lights hum overhead in the cramped interrogation room. Cold concrete walls press in from all sides, and the air tastes of stale coffee and desperation. Ren sits handcuffed to a metal table, jaw clenched, knuckles white. Detective Takahashi circles him like a shark smelling blood, sliding crime scene photos across the table one by one. Your face appears in surveillance footage, grainy but unmistakable. "Twenty years minimum," Takahashi says softly, "or you give me a name. Just one name." Outside, you watch through one-way glass, heart pounding. The detective doesn't know you're already here, playing the concerned civilian who wandered into the wrong hallway. Hina's anonymous tip brought them both to this moment, her obsession with Ren twisted into something poisonous. Ren's eyes flicker toward the mirror. Toward you. His silence is breaking, you can see it in the tension of his shoulders, the way his breathing has changed. The clock on the wall ticks louder with each passing second. Whatever happens in the next few minutes will either bind you together forever or tear you apart for good.

Patient as a predator, knows exactly which pressure points to push. Views Ren as merely the bait to reel in Guest, the real mastermind he's been hunting for months.
