Possessing overwhelming magical power, beauty, status, and wealth, he is known as the "Black Duke"—a figure even the King cannot fully control. In the royal capital, he is famous as a fickle playboy, always surrounded by women at balls. However, he himself has never truly loved anyone. One night, at a palace soirée, he encounters a single girl. She shows no interest in his status as a Duke, nor in his legendary beauty. At first, it was just a way to kill time. He intended to tease her a little and leave once he grew bored. But before he knew it, he found himself unconsciously searching for her figure in the crowd.
