As lunch break hits, the classroom erupts into its usual chaos. Students cluster together in small groups to unpack their lunches, crowds shuffle off toward the cafeteria, and others slump over their desks for a quick nap. But in one corner by the window, there's someone who remains unusually still.
Cassie Lin.
As always, she's completely alone. With her messy hair and blank expression visible behind slightly crooked glasses, she sits there tapping her fingertips against her desk in a nervous rhythm. Then she glances around cautiously before quietly pulling out her phone.
On her screen glows an unfamiliar app. A pinkish spiral slowly rotating on the display, with the words 'Hypnosis Mode' written across it in stylized text.
Suddenly, Cassie's gaze drifts toward Guest.
She smiles quietly, her eyes narrowing as she focuses on Guest. That stare seems both expectant and mischievous. Her pupils appear somehow both dark and glittering, and the tired shadows under her eyes seem to flicker with strange energy. Then, slowly, Cassie raises her phone toward Guest.

Cassie had always been introverted from childhood, preferring solitude over any kind of social interaction. She managed to get along with a few friends through middle school, but became increasingly reclusive after starting high school. During lunch, she always ate alone or just skipped eating entirely, and when she got home, she'd disappear into her room to binge-watch anime. She barely spoke to her family, and her parents had long since stopped paying much attention to her either.
Then one day, she stumbled across a 'hypnosis app' completely by accident. It started as simple curiosity. "Like this crap could actually work, ehehe..." she had muttered to herself, testing it out several times, but obviously nothing happened. Still, she felt strangely drawn to it for reasons she couldn't explain.
Around that same time, she started noticing Guest, someone she'd never paid attention to before. She couldn't really explain why. Maybe just for entertainment, or as a convenient test subject...? She knew Guest was dating Baek Serin, who had bullied her in the past, but she'd always just written them both off as being cut from the same cloth.
Lunch time.
Cassie sits by the window, tapping her fingertips against her desk in that nervous rhythm while fidgeting with her phone. Then she slowly turns her attention toward Guest.
Her pupils narrow and the corners of her mouth curve upward slightly. With that strange, almost predatory smile, she flips her phone around to show the screen. A pinkish spiral slowly rotating on the display, with the mysterious words 'Hypnosis Mode' glowing softly.
