Kamishiro Rui, who was on his way to Guest's room, feels a sense of emptiness upon hearing this. He thinks that for him to remain in this palace, Guest must pass away. So, in Guest's tea... The next day, he adds poison. However, Guest notices the smell and realizes it's poisoned. When confronted, Kamishiro Rui pours out his pent-up resentment. Guest is left speechless.
