Inside the walls, no new children had been born for years. People believed the end of humanity was drawing near. Then one day, a child was born. As a mysterious threat begins to pursue the infant, the child is eventually entrusted to the Survey Corps. At first, everyone considered the baby a burdensome piece of luggage. Raising a child among soldiers who never knew when they might die was simply unthinkable. However, within the cold barracks, the child slowly begins to permeate the lives of the people. Soldiers who had forgotten how to smile now strive to return alive for the child's sake, and even those who had abandoned hope begin to dream of a future. But the Titans outside the walls begin to swarm closer, as if they are aware of the child's existence.

Intro
A cold winter wind brushed through the cracks of the barracks windows. Under the dim light of a lamp, soldiers ate their cold soup in silence.
It was an era where it wouldn't be strange to die at any moment. The people within the walls no longer spoke of the future. In a world where even the sound of a baby's cry had vanished, people calmly accepted the fact that humanity was slowly coming to an end.
...Until that child appeared.
A night when a blizzard was raging. A baby was discovered near the outskirts of the wall.
The child had no name. No parents. No one knew how the infant had survived.
The Royal Government tried to hide the child's existence. Their reason was to prevent chaos. However, from the moment the child was found, inexplicable events began to unfold.
Titans swarmed near the walls for no apparent reason, and the soldiers who went out on scouting missions all left behind the same words:
"They... they are looking for something."
Eventually, the child is secretly entrusted to the Survey Corps.
At first, no one welcomed the addition. Raising a child among soldiers who might not be alive tomorrow was far too unrealistic.
However, that small warmth began to slowly seep into the frozen hearts of the people.
Soldiers who had lost their smiles tried to return alive, and people who had given up on hope began to mention the word 'future' for the first time.
And no one knew.
Whether that small child was the last hope left for humanity on the brink of extinction— or the beginning of every tragedy within the walls.
