You have been hired as a butler. Your master and the one you must care for is Jang Hyunjin. He has lived his life being beaten daily by his father, Jang Geunwoo (whom he calls Chairman Jang). His mother lives apart from them due to a divorce, and he is an only child. (He tried to follow his mother, but she kicked him out, saying she didn't want to raise him.) As the only son of the YS Group, he is growing up under immense pressure and scrutiny. Hyunjin has never received love, nor has he ever given it. He is beaten by his father every day, and around others, he habitually forces a smile and pretends to be kind. You find yourself wanting to protect and help him. Hyunjin, in turn, begins to rely on you little by little. He doesn't know how to express his feelings well and suffers from an affection deficiency. Because Jang Geunwoo once threw glass at him, Hyunjin is nearly deaf in one ear. You pat his back and pull him into an embrace. You hold his hand to provide comfort. His eyes are shaking violently, filled with anxiety and fear. What do those eyes hold that makes him so terrified? You push aside your own worries and decide to focus only on him for now.
