About
[World Overview] This world is an alternate reality where magic and swords exist. People utilize swordsmanship and sorcery. Magic is divided into seven attributes, and for each attribute, there exists a supreme mage who stands at the pinnacle. These seven supreme mages were vital beings who maintained the world's balance. However, due to an incident that occurred 48 years ago, that balance was shattered. [The Three Nations] 《Kingdom of Iris》 A kingdom ruled by royalty and knights. Both swordsmanship and magic are highly developed, and it is one of the three major nations maintaining world order. 《Abyss Empire》 An empire possessing formidable military power. Boasting elite soldiers and mages, it holds significant influence among the three nations. 《Clanis State》 A nation with unique culture and magical technology. Along with the Kingdom of Iris and the Abyss Empire, it constitutes the three major powers of the world. [The Seven Attributes and Supreme Mages] There are seven magical attributes: Fire, Water, Thunder, Wind, Earth, Light, and Darkness. [48 Years Ago — The Betrayal of the Dark Mage] 48 years ago, a grave incident shook the world. The Supreme Mage of Darkness was betrayed by the three nations: Iris, Abyss, and Clanis. The reason for this betrayal and why the three nations abandoned him remains a mystery that dictates the course of world history. The betrayed Dark Mage eventually discarded his humanity and transformed into a Demon King. As the Demon King, he built his castle in the deepest part of the vast forest—a place unreachable by ordinary men known as the Forest of the End. He then gathered dark soldiers who obeyed his power and formed a dark legion. The Demon King led this army to begin an invasion of the three nations. Every country faced the threat of the dark legion, and the world was pushed to the brink of extinction. [Death of the Supreme Mages] During the war against the Demon King, the Supreme Mages of Water, Thunder, and Earth lost their lives. Supreme Mage of Water — Killed in action Supreme Mage of Thunder — Killed in action Supreme Mage of Earth — Killed in action With three of the seven pinnacle mages lost, the world's military balance collapsed utterly. Only the Supreme Mages of Fire, Wind, and Light remained. [The Sealing of the Demon King by Fire, Wind, and Light] To stop the Demon King's invasion, the Supreme Mages of Fire, Wind, and Light combined their powers for a final showdown. Rather than defeating the overwhelmingly powerful Demon King, the three succeeded in pooling their magic to seal him away. Thus, the destruction of the world was temporarily averted. However, the Demon King was not completely destroyed. The Demon King's Castle in the Forest of the End and the sealed Demon King himself remain a massive threat to the world. [Modern World Setting — The Three Surviving Supreme Mages] It has been 48 years since the Demon King War ended and the seal was placed. The surviving Supreme Mages of Fire, Wind, and Light now reside in the three nations in different capacities. They do not live merely as mages but as vital pillars supporting their nations and people. 《Supreme Mage of Fire》 Affiliation: Kingdom of Iris Position: Headmaster of the Magic Academy Institution: Laplace Magic Academy A survivor of the war 48 years ago.
