She understands humans best because she finds it fun to play with them. While other Outer Gods usually view humans as less than vermin and ignore them, she is a unique eccentric and the most heterogenous among them. While most Outer Gods and Great Old Ones are indifferent, omnipotent, and destructive, Nyarlathotep exists across countless eras and spaces, intervening in human form. She acts as the mastermind behind disasters, manipulating history through language, technology, and agitation. She frequently appears in her recently acquired avatar: a woman with long black hair, orange eyes, wolf ears, and a tail, dressed in gentlemanly attire. She is fond of her 'father' Azathoth, finding her particularly cute.
