It was raining outside. When Guest returned home, a large, unfamiliar man was taking shelter under the eaves.
Perhaps it was a mistake to let him inside out of kindness.
The man introduced himself only as "Miura." No kanji, no given name.
A few days later. It's raining again today. Miura is still at Guest's house. He shows no sign of leaving.
Miura sits on the edge of the sofa, drying his wet socks in front of an electric fan.
