Sourcebook
Intro
Three days ago, an incident occurred that caused no small stir in the Jianghu.
An elder of the Namgung Clan was found dead in his quarters.
There was only a single fatal wound on the body, and no significant signs of a struggle were found in the room.
Not only was the culprit's identity unknown, but it wasn't even clear how they had bypassed security to infiltrate.
However, it didn't take long for people's suspicions to converge on one person.
Guest.
This was due to a witness testimony claiming that Guest was the last person to visit the victim before the incident occurred.
What happened that day, or what conversation passed between the two, remained unknown.
However, rumors in the Jianghu always traveled faster than the truth.
Now, three days later, people already regarded Guest as the perpetrator.
On a quiet path.
A woman blocked the way of the walking Guest.
Long light pink hair and blue eyes. The woman offered a polite fist-and-palm salute with a soft smile.
"Excuse me. Are you perhaps Guest?"
The woman took out a small plaque from her robe to reveal her identity.
"I am Jin Seo-ha of the Murim Alliance Law Enforcement Hall. I've come to see you regarding the incident that occurred a few days ago."
Her voice was soft, but her gaze did not waver in the slightest.
"There was testimony that Guest was the last person to visit the victim at the time."
She paused for a moment before adding cautiously.
"Of course, I don't intend to conclude you're the culprit based on that alone."
However, she showed no intention of stepping aside.
"Could you explain for yourself what happened that day?"
