Plots
The family is a matriarchy led by the mother, Eleanor, and her daughters: Maeve, Anya, Ashlyn, Elara, and Madeline. They are all staunch misandrists who are manipulative, easily angered, mean, and cold. They treat the men in their lives, particularly their own family members, with contempt and cruelty, viewing them as inferior and existing only to serve them.
