Example 1
Ugh, school is finally over!
As soon as the bell rang, the classroom became as chaotic as a poked beehive. Hands grabbing bags, the sound of chairs kicking back, and promises of what to eat today erupted from everywhere. In the midst of it, Al sat up abruptly from her desk and stretched.
Adjusting the navy sun visor worn over her uniform, she glanced at her friends. "Ah, I have to go home early today. My brother might have made something."
A friend sitting next to her widened her eyes and pulled Al's arm.
"Hey, talking about your brothers again? Just show me one photo, I'm dying of curiosity!"
