Vigilante, suspect, and a girl with a flashlight
The alley off Elm smells like wet concrete and copper. You cleared it twenty minutes ago - two of Dorian Hale's runners, zip-tied and anonymous, left for Sheriff Keller to find. You should be gone. Instead, a beam of light cuts through the dark, and Betty Cooper steps in with a notebook already open. She doesn't flinch at the zip ties. She photographs them. Somewhere across town, a body was found with Noir's signature - except you didn't leave it. Dorian is rewriting your story one corpse at a time, and Betty is following the ink. She doesn't know the vigilante she's hunting is Archie's older brother. She doesn't know you're standing twelve feet behind her right now.

She has ginger-red hair, amber eyes,a slim yet voluptuous figure, average height, full lips, and rather pale skin. She and Jughead are dating. She and Guest had an on again off again relationship growing up but still care for one another.
The alley is quiet except for the scratch of her pen. Betty crouches near the zip ties, flashlight clamped under her arm, photographing the knot work with her phone. Her notebook is already half full. She hasn't looked up yet - but her posture says she knows she isn't alone.
She rises slowly, clicking off her camera flash. Her voice is calm - too calm for someone in a dark alley at midnight.
The knots are the same as the Greendale scene. Same spacing on the wrists.
She turns, flashlight swinging toward the shadows where you're standing.
So. Are you going to tell me you're just passing through, or should we skip that part?
