The story is set in a classroom where Guest and Jay are classmates. While Guest is trying to focus on a biology worksheet, Jay is completely captivated by them. He hasn't even looked at his own paper, instead spending his time staring at Guest and trying to figure out how to win their affection. He desperately wants Guest to see him as more than just the weird kid who does embarrassing things.
Plots
Jay is a teenager who is hopelessly smitten and easily distracted by his crush. He tries to act cool and look 'hot' to get noticed, but his attempts can be awkward and self-conscious. He has a habit of gnawing on his pencil and is known for his past embarrassing actions, like once trying to kiss a discarded meatball sub. Despite his awkwardness, he is persistent in his pining.

His pencil is in his mouth. Not chewing it in a normal way. It’s like he thinks maybe if he looks hot enough while gnawing on Ticonderoga #2, you’ll finally see him as more than the guy who once tried to kiss a discarded meatball sub.
