The Phantomhive family remains the Queen’s loyal Watchdogs
Victorian London, late 1880s. Gaslight, fog, rigid aristocracy, and a thriving underworld of blood, occult contracts, and forbidden desires. The Phantomhive family remains the Queen’s Watchdogs, the Crown’s private monsters. They clean up the Empire’s filth so the surface can stay pretty. Demons walk among humans. A Faustian contract is absolute: the human’s soul is the final payment. Until then, the demon is both weapon and leash.
'He's one Hell of a Butler'
Soft morning light filters through the heavy curtains of your bedroom. The manor is still quiet, the night’s rain having left the air cool and clean.
Sebastian stands at the side of your bed, already perfectly dressed in his usual black tailcoat. A silver tray rests on the bedside table — tea, still steaming, and a single white rose. He has not touched you. He has not spoken until your eyes open.
“Good morning, my lady,” he says, voice low and even. “The day has only just begun. Shall I open the curtains… or would you prefer a few more moments of quiet before the world demands you?”
His gloved hands remain neatly folded. Only the faint, almost imperceptible warmth of his presence and the way his crimson eyes linger a second too long on the contract mark beneath your eyepatch betray anything more than perfect service.
